Thanks for the awesome update/photos. IMHO don't think much of the 'new' line, but I have been proven wrong before :-)

So what does the Ring Command actually do?

The more I see the Sky Dweller the more I like it but it will be interesting to see one in the metal and know what the price is.

I don't like the new Sub but then again I like the older versions with the smaller case.

The trend right now is wealthy woman are wearing Daytonas. I can only believe that Rolex knows this and designed the Rainbow Daytona for that market sector. As well made as it is, I can't imagine it was made for the average man to wear.

I have no clue who and what the direction Rolex is going. Yuck.. They can't even do a tasteful jeweled watch anymore. Honestly, my Serti Submariner looks like a Amish watch compared to these new offerings from Rolex. That Rolex "tool watch" image is slipping farther and farther away. If the Skydweller is the best they can do as a GMT, then Rolex is in trouble. That dial is a train wreck. I am not a hater, I a disappointed as hell. I long for the days when Rolex design use to move at the speed of snails. Apparently that was blessing instead of a curse.

Like many multi-national companies, I'm sure the growth markets are places like Asia (China) and perhaps Brazil. So is Rolex introducing new models that will in part appeal to these growth markets and not really most of us on this site - US, EU.

Will the new bling Daytona, that I just think is ugly, work well in the identified growth markets? If so, good business by Rolex.

I expected something to happen to the Sub ND, but I don't like how it turned out. The ceramic bezel, glidelock etc are all fine, but I don't like the maxi-case at all. The natural flow from the case to the bracelet is lost - looks like the bracelet is too small or the case is too boxy.

Hi, called up Mappin and Webb in Manchester and they confirmed the price for the Yellow Gold Sky Dweller was 30,700 GBP!!! The datejust 4100GBP and the sub nd 4930GBP these figures are a ball park I can't remember exact off the top of my head!.
The WG and RG versions would be alot more!! Seems a very pricey new edition!!!

The new sub case

Is anyone, besides those who visited Basel, able to tell the difference between the new sub and the pre-Basel sub's case? Is the case longer along the lugs?i am curious:)
