Active Duty Air Force Jan 1996 - Nov 2011.
Currently with the New York Air National Guard.

Recently was selected for promotion to 0-5 and bought a GMT II 16710 P serial as a reward. Won't get to see it until Nov however as I'm TDY to Germany until then. But I'm rockin' a 1969 Omega Speedy Pro pre-moon in the meantime.

US Navy.
7 years active duty, many more in the reserve.
I got my 16600 to commemorate my service time when I got out.

My daily wear watch during my time in uniform was an IWC chronograph.

Spent 6 months this year with some Booties up in the North and 9 months last year in the South-West, where we were with the Jarheads, never saw any Rolexes on either of them though! I used to have a few good RM friends I met in BSN gym last year. I've run at Raleigh many times (wearing Casio) and have fond memories of taking on the RN and Army there, where of course a lot of the RN team was RMs.

Most guys seem to go for Omegas for the obvious reason, but there are a few of us, have been to a funeral today, few rolexs knocking about.

I have a Rolex (or two) but nothing so valuable as a RM green beret. Sincere respect to you sir.

I wore G-Shocks, Suuntos, Polars, and finally an Omega PO while active.
Now I wear my SD, PO, my Casio Pathfinder and Suunto Core for the real grimey stuff or if weather is a factor.
