Still be willling to bet this nincompoop got curious sometime after the "conversation" and spent some time online, at which point he learned something quickly about Rolex Submariner evolution (and maybe ate a little private crow in the process)...

Indeed, too bad there's no longer a good Fresno-area AD where a good bet in your favor couldn't have settled the matter decisively!
