Of course, you're crazy. The watch in the picture looks absolutely correct on your wrist. Your 48mm Breitling must completely cover your wrist. That isn't a look I care for. Get the Rolex.

Duuude, the Breitling is just ginormous. If you'd asked does this Breitling look too big after wearing the Milgaus, it be YES. It's disproportionate to your wrist imho, please don't be offended.

This is like some one who walks in to get a tailored suit done.
You're used wearing suits off the rack(Breitling), then you walk in to a tailor and he starts tightening things up in all the right places(DSSD), looks better but still not done. You start to feel constricted but you're looking better(DJll), until he's finally done and asks how does it feel....the Milgaus.
You'll feel a bit uncomfortable at first and restricted, but once you settle in it will feel like a million dollars and everyone will compliment you on your new suit.

I think the Milgaus size looks best but the DJll comes in a really close second and I think it's a better all around watch.
After your purchase, come back in a couple of weeks and tell us just how huge the Breitling feels, I guarantee. I not a fan of huge watches, the DSSD is my limit and I get that it's size has to do with it's function.
Good luck, be sure to tell us what you get.

I really can't see that Breitling looking good on the wrist of anybody but a real giant with Paul Bunyan sized hands like an NFL lineman.

didn't want to say it

The first word that jumped to my mind was "cheesy", but I didn't want to be the one to say it. I'm afraid the Breitling is a bit much, but I can understand why the wearer would think anything less than 45mm and half a pound would be small.

Have to agree that that looks huge, even if wrist shots don't tell the whole truth. Definitely aim for something closer to 40mm, the Milgauss looks perfect on you.
