Patek tool watch

According to the advertising the officers case back was designed to protect the watch from the rigours of hunting and trench warfare! Can't replicate the trench warfare ; but can go riding..(not hunting though)

Yachtmaster on a dive boat, just before going on a two tank dive for the day. Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, BWI

Wore it in worse environments too like my 2 year old's diaper changing sessions (no pics)...

I was wondering, Dr. Kerr, if you've had a personal relationship with the Corps or do they sponsor you?

Yours must be a very interesting life.

I've often wondered if drivers actually use chronographs for timing anymore and I think you've answered that in the affirmative.

My son was a sergeant in the Marine Corps serving in Afghanistan when that car livery was designed

Use the Daytona at the track all the time for lap times and total race times while in car

Not sure about how interesting my life is to anyone but me but I do keep busy

Does a Turn O Graph/Thunderbird count? It has aviation heritage.

Descending into SFO.

May I resurrect this thread?

I'm still new to this forum, much enjoyed your Rolex ads; and to find this thread is something of a joy - it's a far better match to my personal perception of Rolex than the fashionista threads that, quite legitimately, are of interest to other tastes. :)

Happy to be corrected, but I think the GMT2 also does what it says on the tin for globe-trotting military personnel (and, as per the way it seems to be pushed the old ads in the Rolex ad thread, it's actually more versatile as an 'explorer' than an Explorer):

My original GMT2, as a young subby immediately after the 1991 unpleasantness:

and, full circle, my newly acquired GMT2 - all that's changed is a new camouflage (and a whole bunch of grey hairs, wrinkles and additional kgs!):

Pedantic, but the Day-Date is not the 'President'...that's just the name of the specific bracelet; Some DDs have that bracelet, others don't.
So I suppose the picture should be of a guy with a DD, looking baffled about what activity he's supposed to be doing. Maybe trying to remember what day it is.
