Let's just say this is a GREAT example of why relationships are important in the AP world.

It's an awesome piece, would probably be my first choice for a tourbillon, whichever the brand, just looks awesome, the second one on this pic is also very cool, Seems to be the 26347TI, normally it's 44mm as the blue one, but the blue one seems much bigger and thicker, even though it's also 44mm, is it the pic that gives the impression that it's much smaller Paul, or is it really smaller? But I don't think it can beat the PT, ceramic bezel and blue dial of the first one.

The grand complication pieces also are very cool, like the 1M and 750K ones, but seems to me that for 1M I would go for a Patek 5208P instead, even if it doesn't have equation of time or astronomical calculations, 2 complications I really like

DAY 3

Good morning for the last time from Le Brassus! First thank all of you for the kind words and comments. It has been a pleasure sharing this amazing trip with you!

Today is a busy day. We leave AP and head to AP Renaud & Papi for a full tour/vist and then have lunch with Giulio Papi--that will be epic! We are then off to Geneva for the afternoon and a final dinner tonight. Will have some great shots from the day up later this afternoon as normal.

As to the AP's that tempt me--well the anthracite is a must and the Toubs are going to give my pocketbook some issues if I don't restrain myself.

I want to once again thank AP and Govberg for treating us like not only VIP's, but more importantly like the AP family. When you walk around and spend all day with the AP employees you quickly realize this is a FAMILY not a job. Many have been here 35+ years. The watchmaking academy had 640 applications last year of which they only took one student. Amazing.

WOW--JUST WOW today. Spending the majority of the day with Mr. Papi was nothing short of incredible.

Probably THE most prolific watchmaker in the world today (for AP, RM and six other brands) he was the nicest most humble person you would ever meet.

I have started a thread just for the Schumi V2 here https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=416150--I'm still speechless we got to see it in person, much less have Mr. Papi spend hours with us and then host us for a private lunch.
