The animal print ones are rather funky.

However they've sold every one ever made...

I think for me, the real blingy Rolexes, for example like the pic Howie posted don't really do it for me. Also, as much as I think the Daytona is a great watch, it does sing to me either. The YM II is also one that does not move me. Now that said, I wouldn't turn any of them down if they were given to me and I'd be happy to wear them because they are still a Rolex.

I rather have any Rolex then have no Rolex...
If someone offered one to me for free (even a Cellini) belive me wouldnt think twice before accepting...
It might sit in the safe forever, but Id still be proud to count it apart of my collection.

The new TOG doesn't speak as loud to me as others in the Rolex stable. That said it is still a nice piece with an interesting history.

I don't think the animal print ones are as bad as the oversized DDII's. JMO. Those looks like toys.

What is it that people do not like about the Cellini. Is it size, price, not an oyster?

Gee, ya think? Watchlady hasn't posted anything in a while, but she and I both agree the 26mm DJ is difficult to read when you're getting farsighted.

Interesting thread. Almost all the major models got a mention with the exception of the GMT.

For me it would be the Yacht-Master TT....I feel it needs a Gold Crown!.....If it had one it would be on my short list.

You don't track cars, as the Boxster S is probalby the best handling P car made. So much so, Porsche crippled it a bit so as to not take away from 911 sales. For the record I drive an '06 M3 coupe.

I really like the Cellini, but it's an artifact from the early 20th century: hand wound, no date, and small. I can understand why most people don't like it since it doesn't fit in with our modern sporty tastes.

But my vote goes to the Daytona as my least favorite Rolex. It's got too many hands spinning around and whatnot sticking out for my taste.

Without question my least favorite watch Rolex makes has got to be the Leopard Daytona. I really don't "hate" any watches, but this one I think is just the worst. Others that I don't like are the Air King and the Explorer I, not becasue there's anything wrong with them but becasue I find them rather bring. I think the YMII is kind of tacky too. Oh, and also anything decked out in diamonds, like on the bezel, case and lugs etc. I find those gauche. I guess I take issue with a lot of Rolex's line now that I look back on what I've typed... ops...

Boy, I will go against the grain on this one and go out on a limb . . .

For some reason the Air King just doesn't float my boat.

Also, not a fan of the Explorer I.

In addition, the Explorer II is horrible!

Fourthly, the GMT II is atrocious. What a ridiculous watch that can't make up its mind. One minute, it has a black bezel, the next a black and red, then it turns into a soft drink, BLUE AND RED? Are you kidding me????

Next, I would say I despise the GMT IIC--parachrom spring, better clasp, and a ceramic bezel. I have read from VERY reliable sources that this bezel will shatter when you look at it.

The Daytona is simply stupid. The only thing it is useful for is timing how long it takes me to abhor the new Basel releases (each year).

Datejust . . . What good is a date without a day? I can't remember if today is Sunday or Friday.

Day Date? What kind of model is this? If you can't remember the day of the week and the date, then you have a serious problem. Really, why did they invent cell phones after all?

Don't even talk about the Deep Sea. 43 mm? There isn't a watch this big on the planet. And is ANYONE EVER going to dive to those depths? If you do, it will be in a coffin.

I could go on and on, but I will not. The truth is we should all just buy a Timex or a sundial.

PS As I am sure you all know by now, I am completely joking. I love this forum and all the debate it inspires. Above all, we love our Rolex watches--NO MATTER THE MODEL.
