Noticed the exact same thing too, once the Daytona was queried.

Looking at the banned OPs post history, it looks like he purchased the DJ2 from watchaser, met in downtown LA and paid cash. They even left feedback for each other.

Oops accidentally hit send. Watchaser has a good reputation on TRF. So the DJ2 might be real? Who knows though right? Maybe it's part of the grand scheme of the banned OP to build a rapport on TRF to sell his fakes.

He seemed eager to meet folks in a get together, hopefully not for more nefarious purposes than selling fakes.

I completely agree. He really was pushing a GTG. Best case he's a con artist, worst a thief. A GTG would be a target rich environment for either. This thread is funny but it's certainly a cautionary tale that not everyone comes here for legitimate reasons.

Oh I missed all the fun. Some really bad fakes there, wouldn't have fooled anyone IRL at closer than an arms length (or six).

Too good... You can't make this stuff up

Coming on to an enthusiasts forum trying to pass such obvious fakes as genuine.

So funny this thread lives on....it really just needs more vegetables.

Great catch guys on the fakes! It is a bit scary that he wanted a GTG so bad. Also, it's nuts if that's his fake watch collection and not somebody else's photo. That's a lot of money wasted on fakes.

I was the "private collections" that had me wondering. Not sure anyone on here has a public collection, do they?

Super hilarious thread. I bursted out laughing when the dude got busted.

There are some real eagle eyes on TRF. No way I could have spotted the fake. Keep up the great work TRF.
