It’s funny you say that. I was of the same view in my 20’s and then ... voila I woke up one day and I was 50

Life sure speeds by.

I turn 50 tomorrow and have a BLNR. I was really hoping for a 126710 Pepsi for my big day, but I'm still waiting!

Hit 50 in March, I have my AD working to get the White Daytona 116500LN. I put the request in over a year ago so who knows if I will see it but life is good so no worries if it's late. Trust me the years go by quick!!

SD43 was my gift on my 50th, a couple of weeks ago. And, I was lucky enough to get a Breitling Colt Automatic Blacksteel as a gift. Definitely a nice way to turn 50.

No current plans on a purchasing a watch for my 50th. But it would definitely not be a Cellini, not my taste!

The same GMT 1675 that I bought when I was 19. Now in my late 60's, I still wear it 24/7/365. Recently serviced by Rolex Dallas, it came back looking like new. The mechanism feels tight and crisp; it loses one second a day. Really pleased!

I have no clue, and I have no grail watch. However the next watches I want are the following, so I guess it would be one of these.

52 next month and finally got both of these this year. Both have bracelets, but I prefer the leather on vintage sometimes.

I turn 50 in four years and asked my local AD to get me a white Daytona 500. I am not a big spender, but hopefully they will come through as I have purchased all of my new Rolexes from them.

I hit the milestone this April. My wife told me she wanted to get me a watch but it had to be brand new and not like one of my old, beat up, ugly watches (her words). She did marry me so I couldn’t question her taste.

I've been thinking for awhile about a TT Bluesy for my 50th. I've got 5 years to think on it. However, my wife and I talked about his/hers JLC's for our 20th anniversary next May (2019). She wants the Rendez Vous and I want the Master Control chronograph.

Happy birthday.

I was 55 yesterday.

I wanted to get a platinum Daytona or a perpetual calendar PP for my 50th but I still haven't got either five years later.

Great thread. I'm 50 next year and have been thinking about the watch to buy for.some time. I'm thinking it should be a pm, never owned one before.

So far I've got a short list of WG ceramic Daytona, platinum Daytona or a Patek 5960p Black.

That will be my choice too

Also, I really like the new TT GMT in RG....is that being greedy??? lol

My 50th is next May, so maybe not enough time to save for both, but I think my biggest problem here in the UK will be finding either at an AD without having to go grey .... (dealer that is, not hair! haha!)
