This type of thread should be locked. Otherwise, every time people reply, it will become a "truth" when it gets bumped enough times.

This is the least they should do for the current WG owners.

I believe only the Rolex reputation could pull it off. There isn’t another premium watch brand that has such a high profile of brand recognition. When the masses of people around the world think the best watch you can buy, they think “Rolex”. Perception is reality. Rolex can capitalize on that simple truth. The “holy trinity” brands mean nothing to the general masses nor do they carry the same weight of reputation to rest of the world out side of the watch enthusiast.

"Perception is reality." Truer words have never been uttered on this forum before. My boss at the first law firm I ever worked out would repeat that phrase to no end to everyone at the firm constantly. And I agree it absolutely applies to the situation with Rolex.

Yeah I saw that Neil. Wonder how many people will take them up on it? I definitely want to see one it in the flesh. It is nice of them to do for current BLRO owners

I’d put money on the fact that at some pint we’ll see a dial catalogue with both dial options for the WG BlRO.

We know that Rolex doesn’t show all dial options on the website.

Currently I'm on a list for a BLNR (and I would really like to purchase from an AD for reasons). My worry would be that if the BLNR is discontinued or updated and I would like to purchase the updated BLNR or a sub (which may also get updated in the future), I would basically be hopping from waiting list to waiting list forever.

No. It's the complete price list from the new master catalog.

If that's the case, find another AD.
If they can't deliver the thing that you've ordered then they ought to at least try and offer an alternative. If not, you'd be better off finding someplace else for your money.

ADs will continue recieving BLNR and HULK until the end of the stock

Of course it’s always hard to believe anything. But I talked to my AD today after asking him about the BLNR yesterday. He said he confirmed with his rep that the BLNR has NOT been discontinued.

Let the soap opera drama continue...

Would be interesting if the 3186 BLNR on Oyster was continued along side the BLRO on Jubilee for a good while. They know the BLRO on Oyster would be even more demanded, so shift some of that demand towards the BLNR to move the remaining 3186 movements. Seems like a winning business strategy to me

That would be my dream watch!
