What was the actual reason they decided to come out with this new line? Like was it just because SIHH was around the corner or....what?

Good interview. Thanks for sharing. I think, over time, this is going to be a popular line. Especially when they start introducing different materials to the case and new dial designs |

The 2nd interview between him and the guy from Watchadvisor, along with Watchadvisor kind of reminds of an old saying..if you have to explain why a joke is funny, it probably isn't funny to begin with. This whole counter point to the criticism especially coming from the CEO is similar to that. If you have to go through that length to explain why the watch is stunning and how you can't judge it from the pictures...etc then most likely it's not really all that great to begin with. Besides there's already plenty of other online publication that have seen the watches in person and also don't care for the dial either. I guess I can't blame him too much, every CEO will lip service its own product and hype it up. I am sure Microsoft hype the Zune player back then too.

Good interview, not holding back, taking risks, drowning out the noise, embarking on new adventures, makes for a great CEO. I'm glad he's not doing what everyone else is, part of AP DNA.

Love this new batch of WA interviews. And I like the AP CEO, though his Euro-metro-sexual manners can be distracting during the interview, lol.
I do think the WA interviewer did correctly highlight the immature online reactions to Code 11.59. Nothing wrong with criticism, but the name-calling has been uncalled for. And the proclamations that this line is a failure before ever seeing the watches in person, or with any understanding of different target markets... Time will tell on this particular line. |

AP just need to make them unavailable, produce 1 every month, everybody would love a hype watch like that.

Seems like he wears his leather jacket in every interview.

I enjoy a level-headed discussion. This is why I like TRF that people are passionate but still level headed.

I like FHB. Funny dude and obviously smart. Good, open reaction to the whole thing. Makes me appreciate the brand even more.

Mr. Bennahmias's reaction to the bad publicities about Code 11:59
It’s always enjoyable to watch FHB interviews. He is never dull.
Let’s see how the new line goes, but kudos in any case to not shy away from the challenging launch reaction.

I have a feeling that the Code 11:59 is going to be a slow burner for a while, and then become a huge hit. Personally, I don’t like it, but it’s amazing how often things that are universally disliked become a huge hit.

What did he expect?
He clearly does not understand his consumer's taste |
