I have 7 Submariners in my collection, so IMHO no a 3rd Daytona is not too many!

I say, go for it! The 519 is the most popular in the Daytona OF line-up and for good reason! It does really look great!

I really just love the Daytona look and honestly with multiple watches I like the no date and easy time set... (yes I am lazy).
Plus I have small wrist like 6-3/8" so it fits me perfect.

I also have CHNR, Batman 2.0 and AP Diver.

I have been up and down the Rolex, AP and Patek lineup and either watches I like are too big (AP) or unreasonably expensive (Patek). Or in the case of Rolex, I have already owned a bunch (like literally even single submariner for example and Hulk twice..lol... but waiting for Basel 2020, maybe new Submariner next year...
Right now Daytonas and GMTs are on fire w/ Rolex as both refreshed past 4 years and currently my favorite Aesthetic.

The reason I have had so many rolexes is I LOVE the Rolex aesthetic, reliability, durability and sportiness which still has it tops for me. Not to mention the fit is perfect for my small wrists AND I LOVE microadjustments as my wrists MORPH.

Here is my current 2019 Collection (I update yearly ).

lol...I would be some of non-Rolex like 15400 or 15202...complication PP...etc other than Daytona

Nothing wrong with multiple Daytonas unless you've got the Platona in which case the others won't get worn.

I sold my 116500 shortly after getting the 116519 LN as it was never getting worn. But I could make a case for having a collection of Daytonas though!

Agreed, my goal reading posts on this forum is to remind myself to never sacrifice another Rolex ever again. I’ve traded some in the past and wish I simply worked it out to keep them all.

I personally know a guy who owns 5 Daytona's. I think after you buy so many you become friends with the dealer, dealer starts cutting you returning customer discounts and it becomes more and more tempting to keep acquiring when you know your getting about a 5-7% discount.

Can never have too many Daytonas. I keep adding to my collection and never regretted a single one
