Love tattoos but just never had the guts to get one, also I just don’t have the look to pull it off.

Some awesome tattoos here

That's my opinion. I don't hate anyone, but I do have an opinion, and in my opinion tattoos and elegance don't coexist.

All on all my last tattoos where france and in Russia beginning of 2016. I find the tattoo world hyped nowadays which is a pitty

I can tell you that my students and younger patients are, on average, quite complimentary of tattoos and a good percentage of them already have some done. Times and perceptions are indeed changing and the new generations will drive this change.

That being said, I also agree that regardless of how custom and expensive a suit is, it's impossible to pull off a neck, face or full sleeve tattoo as "elegant" or "classy". It's an oxymoron. There is "elegance" in the pictures above, sure, but DESPITE the tattoo (by mostly hiding it), not BECAUSE of the tattoo.

With all due respect, I don't try to wear expensive suits, (Dior, Tom Ford...) elegance is something else. The elegance goes more with the hanger, the physique and the attitude.

The tattoos in my opinion tarnish the result.

Rolex and tattoos go very well together, IMO... My modest contribution (I have only one of each) -

Hey, you know what I realized is cool about this thread? In real life, when someone has a tattoo (or many tattoos), you usually notice it right away before you have formed an opinion. On TRF, you sometimes "get to know" folks through their posts and form an opinion about them. Then, weeks, months or years later, you see a picture of them in a thread like this and they have a full sleeve, or a neck tattoo, or tattoos on their hands and it may not be what you "expected." But it didn't color your initial impression of them because you formed an impression of them way before you saw this.

Anyway, I find it interesting...

I love the tattoos that contain lengthly written script that no one could possibly read. My favorite tattoo was on the lower calf of a guy in a bar in Florida. Honest: it was a cartoon colored Unicorn. Could alcohol or pranksters be involved in that work of art?

Indeed. There are generally no covers on forums such as this, only books

All of them. You also have to understand that my mother tongue is not English. I would like you to have a conversation with me in Spanish to see how you express yourself.

Enjoying the thread photos.
Always wanted one.
Never had the balls but more importantly could never figure out what to get that I wouldn’t regret later.

I find in general as I see them in the streets, some are very tastefully done.
Some make one wonder what they were thinking of at the time.
Either way, to each their own.
Certainly the art is more accepted and common today than ever.
Seems nowadays more people with them than without.

My offer to Ronn to please adopt me is still on the table.

You can’t blame your cursing on your native tongue. Sorry. Not buying it.
