Can any model really compete with the 36mm Day-Date? The most iconic model imo.

IMHO PM are for classic pieces, nothing goes better in YG than the DD, either way 36 or 40 depending on your wrist size.

Amen, I went back and forth for years between this and many others but this just nails it. TIMELESS!!!!

I love that reference...I have the RG CHNR and even though I am not a fan of duplicates in the collection in terms of function, I would make an exception in this case if I run across one

I would much prefer the white dial on the Daytona. Black dial works on the YG Sub or GMT but not much else. Too much contrast IMO.

The orange looking gold PVD in the bezel doesn't match the 18K yellow gold. Drove me crazy and led to selling the 116713. The rose gold matches far better.

Love this piece. I had the chance to get one at a great discount before it was discontinued but declined. Still kicking myself over it.

Zenith Daytona w/ champagne dial, or 18238 DD with Birch or Onyx dial.
