I like to change the straps on my watches.

A quick google search on the Hulk, and it's... rather limited. It doesn't seem to go well with any strap if it's not green.

Rootbeer is slightly more versatile. So this is my choice between the two.

This is strictly my use case. Most people keep it in their original bracelets and are quite happy for it. There are no wrong choices here.

CHNR if you care about matching colors and such. Hulk if you don't care and just want to stand out more.

I'd choose the 126710CHNR because the second time zone function is useful when travelling and the colours are more pleasing for daily wearing.

Sounds like you have your heart set... but when I hear only very trendy watches chosen, I think that it's more to do with having the latest hot thing.

If you really are looking for a single watch then I believe a 126622 Yacht Master to be a much better only watch and the same money as these. It's far more comfortable and versatile and its more useful with the bidirectional bezel. The case is MUCH more comfortable and better looking. It also has an updated movement.

I would also say a Datejust41 would be a better only watch or an explorer 1 if you never dress up - not that you can't but the YM and DJ just go better with nice clothes.

Depends which CHNR? All-Gold or TT?

If All-Gold, go LV. If TT, go CHNR.

the LV for sure. If you want GMT function, I would go with BLRO.

I own the Hulk and love it. It's not my only watch, but I think it could be fine as a stand alone piece. I love the CHNR as well (from a guy that doesn't love two tone). The CHNR is on my list.

Tough decision; both great watches. Very different.

Hulk owner who was offered the rootbeer.....

Without question the LVC over the CHNR.

Having now owned a Rosegold Daytona, I’m generally not a fan of everose. Too pink for me, compared to the rose gold from Patek, ALS, etc.
However, the one model where the everose gold looks good in the CHNR, IMO.
Having said that, the watch looks great in the sunlight, and really pops. In the shade, however, it’s rather ‘meh’. If the dial itself was rootbeer, much like prior models, I might feel differently.
I thought about it seriously but turned it down after trying it on a couple of times.

The hulk otoh has become my single favorite piece. I love the contrast of a sunburst dark green dial that changes color, against brush steel. It’s just perfect. Not sure how to explain it other than if they made the YM in brushed steel case and bracelet with a ceramic bezel (which I know they won’t) and kept the current case shape, it would be the only SS model that would surpass the hulk, at least for me.

I'm a much bigger fan of the Hulk but I have to go Rootbeer here. Don't think the Hulk makes as good a one watch collection as the Rootbeer which is more versatile.

CHNR for me. But, I already have a Kermit. Hulk is great, but I prefer the CHNR.

Biased because I own a CHNR so that's my choice but I love the Hulk as well and hope to attain it one day.
