Thanks! I appreciate it!!! I'm always embarrassed when any photo I take has a flaw on it. I always seem to be in a hurry to participate and sometimes overlook the minor details. Mine, again, was a shot of a watch with sweat on it from running and the reflection of the bezel on the metal distorted by the roughened surface. This site has become a place to post perfection only. We all know that hardly anyone really gives good use to their little treasures. It's kind of sad than a bit of normal use can get sniped at so readily.

I have a collection. And on paper this blue BB58 should not get a look in. But every time I get home, I rush to put it on. The hue of blue is grown up, but self effacing and happy like the grown ups the whole family, old or young, look forward to welcoming. It really is like a 114060 New Kid In Town (that Eagles song). Enjoy!

Woah, if that’s a reference to my earlier comment, I apologize for the poor clarity! I think your Platona looks the way Platonas should look — well loved, worn in and actually used.

You are right, it’s often a beauty contest around here, but a thread on “Rolex and blue jeans” should translate into casual, utilized, low-key photos, not Insta-ready perfection setups. Kudos to you for actually doing what people ought to be doing with their Platonas...wearing the heck out of them...
