I was like you but in the end didn't love it and dsold it within a year. The subdial just looked a bit too plastic and the finishing wasn't great. The micro-adjustment wasn't as flexible as the Rolex one and like the above - the clasp occasionally comes undone. Sports watch you can't do anything other than surface swim? Go figure. I'd have thought FPJ could fix that very easily.

I hear you there. When I asked for this they only had the rubber bumper version in stock so I took an ARS2 with new bracelet. I had no idea it would turn into a 16 month saga as this wasn’t really a hard to get watch at the time. During that 16 months I fell pretty hard for the centigraphe S. It’s next on my list for sure but honestly no idea if or when.

Thanks Michael. It’s not the best Journe but it might be the best one for me. Now I want that damn centigraphe.

Thanks Michael. They should make a 42 as well to give buyers choices like with the RQ etc

I would say this wears like a 42 but you have clearly had one on wrist to size up.

Funny how some people relate to a watch. My daughter use to call my Hulk sub the leprechaun watch.

Congrats OP ~ enjoy it in good health! Looks great on you.

Oof. Do you know a good source to learn more about the movement? I.e., Langepedia but Journepedia.

I do not know of any such sites unfortunately. The boutiques are generally good at providing in depth knowledge about the various movements. This one was designed for only watch and then they incorporated a large date and made it a production movement for linesport. Entirely in house and assembled by a single watchmaker.
