The bezel on my TT GMT fell off a few years ago. I took it to my AD and she fixed it. The end

After reading all the comments I again looked at the pics and from what I see is the first weld did is job in the clasp but the 2nd 3rd and last weld did not even weld together. So I believe it was only the first weld that held the Gold piece on until it finally let loose.
.
Again Rolex will make it right …
If not shame on them ..just my 2 cents

I was thinking the exact same thing! Not much gold it twotones…. Shouldn’t cost as much considering its a this strip of gold

It shouldn't take an engineer to realize that when you open the TT clasp and the inside is all stainless, the entire center cannot be solid gold.

Hey my money my choice.
I bet the cosmetic additions weren't pointed out at purchase.
Buyer beware. IMHO
Its blinding obvious when you open the clasp, no one is getting conned here

For the entire centre section to be gold, the clasp would require to be pinned together which would probably make the TT clasp more expensive to produce than one made entirely of 18ct gold
