Funny enough, the same ones indicating that it's all hype, and the so-called internet social media followers are pretty much sheep and only buy what others want, and they are pretty much just young and dumb, those are the same people that are fans of the oyster perpetual, including OP 39s and apparently current oyster perpetuals in the catalogue in all but the so-called hot colors. Yes, the 36 is nice, I think the 41 is a little bit nicer. A lot more dial, though. Absolutely beautiful watch Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk |

I like the bright dial colors of these OP 41s but I wish they would have stayed an 39 mm.
I’m glad Rolex stopped putting ugly dials on these like the purple grape, yellow grape, blue with green indices. I felt like Rolex made those ugly on purpose so you would look past the 6k option and get something else. |

No I’m with you guys I loved the watch straight away on release day I called my AD and was told I’d be first on the list and they didn’t expect the colourful dials to be popular. Although I don’t think I got the first one by a long shot they did come through with it and I picked it up in September I absolutely love the colour, it’s nice to have a bit of variety in the Collection it’s very plain and simple but mesmerising at the same time. As for the prices it’s insane but then the same could be said for most models at the moment will it last who knows but it does make me a little wary about wearing it around town with all this hype. Not sure I agree with that but I am biased the ceramic black is my fav watch and spectacular looking. If this sells for £50k then the Daytona and other watches will look like a bargain even grey prices

75k? 80? Wow.
They need to discontinue the thing within the next year or two, like what they did with the Stella dials in the '70s. that would likely be one way that these premiums can be sustainable.. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk |

The Turquoise blue dial smaller is perfect for a Woman...or if they want to wear ironically large wear the OP41.
Not a color for a man IMHO...well this man. And so some don't get their Tiffany panties in a wad over ...I don't wear yellow, red, green, blue etc dials either its not just Turquoise blue. I'd love to see this crash back down to MSRP! Mainly for "hype" posts like this thread. |

Now 35k - OP 41 Turquoise Tiffany
People referring as ‘Tiffany’ and then people saying it’s not the same colour… true, but it’s very close!

Me and my mate were talking about this today it doesn’t even have polished centre links. How is it so expensive. We were crying we didn’t buy one when it was £12k at grey to flip lol. I could have sold it and bought a green Daytona and he said he would have bought a nice Patek.

Sorry, did you really mean to type that you're so annoyed by the high prices being asked for the 124300 Turquoise that you now "hate this hobby"? Incidentally, I paid $12k for mine a year ago, and I thought I was giving into highway robbery at the time, but I wanted the watch really badly. Now that it's apparently appreciated in price, I'm "loving" this hobby even more, ha.

Incidentally, I remember when the original 16610LV with the "flat 4" (on the bezel) was suddenly commanding double the price of the other 16610LV examples. People asked "why" then as well, but the price differential has largely held. It's difficult to figure out why a certain variant is somehow deemed more "collectible" by the prevailing groupthink.

What I meant was it is the basic in everything it’s the entry level model. Now with these prices everything grey looks like bargain.
