23, grad present. Only nice watch I own. Since then I have bought 5 new Rolex’s, all as gifts. One for wife as anniversary gift, three kids grad / wedding presents, one for a friend. Keep saying it’s my turn again but not sure I would buy another Rolex anytime soon.

Dang..some of Ya'll got great Graduation presents from your parents!! I got a Seiko for my graduation way back in 1977, but, luckily, I didn't know about Rolex back then.

One of my goals was to have a Rolex before I turned 30…so I got a Daytona TT and Sub Date together at 29.

I was 40 years old, YG DD Bark. I truly loved that watch, however, unfortunately because of a divorce I sold it. In retrospect it worked out fine. If I would have kept it, every time I looked at it, I would be reminded of a low point in my life. I now have a RG DD, and it’s a happy watch. So it all worked out for the best.

Got my pre owned 16610 in 2011. It's on my wrist today and gets the most wear. I properly love this watch. I'm now 47 (and a half).

I was 27 as a present for grad school graduation. Wore if for a decade plus, then put it away. Still have it but don’t wear it (TT DJ, champagne dial). Then in 40s got other pieces - some Rolex and some not. Wore and Apple Watch inbetween.

1680. I was 28 1978 and still have it today. Saw me through many forest fires with the U.S. Forest Service. Got pretty beat up so I had the RSC swap the dial, hands and bracelet in the 1990s. I will never sell it. Shares wrist time with my 16610 now.

I was 29 & celebrating getting a much higher paying job. The 14060 I think was $2800.
