Nafis, based on your responses, I take you as being a very nice, well-mannered, and humble guy. You did the right thing giving up your watch. Now you still have the rest of your life to live. I have no doubt that you will one day own another DD, or even "nicer" watch on your wrist. Just be careful. There are a lot of scum out there. All the best.

Recently went on a weekend trip to New Orleans, LA with some friends, one of whom spends a lot of time there and knows the area well. He recommended that we not wear nice watches while there, and I followed his advice. Frustrating that that’s the way that it is.
