Big match coming up. Incredibly tough one to call, so I’m not going to try, just looking forward to seeing De Bruyne, Hazard, Pogba, Griezmann and Mbappe hopefully light it up.

A few injuries and red cards wouldn’t go amiss either!

On another subject entirely, one that was discussed upthread, it looks like the man, the model, the legend that is Cristiano Ronaldo really is moving to Juventus.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44785173

I wonder if the headline Ronaldo Enters Old Lady might adorn any of our tabloid back pages?

Great article. Thank you. I noticed that REAL MADRID´S flirtation with the "brazilian" (I suppose the article means Neymar)..........caused Cristiano to want to find another home.

Random question to the floor, those of you watching English language coverage but not in England: who are your commentators for this?

In India, it's perfectly normal to worship rats and wear a red dot on your forehead. In Italy, if you have a red dot on your forehead you just might be the rat.

Intriguing game so far, Hazard looks dangerous as does Mbappe, De B is playing better than Greizman who really needs to step up for France, and both strikers are a bit off, while Pogba and Kante are now getting the better of Fellaini and Dembele. It is really set up well.

Hazard or Mbappe to replace Ronaldo... all to play for.

Agree. 10 of our guys play in the PL. We miss Meunier’s passes on the right side.

Yeah, basically. I added a link to that post. Great word, coined by “Big Ron” Atkinson.

I like the sportsmanlike play we've been privy to so far.

I was (sort of) joking. Though personally I do think roughing up the opposition’s best players is a legitimate tactic. It’s certainly how the game was routinely played up until 20 years ar so ago. Belgium though are too skilful to need to resort to skulduggery.

I wouldn’t be unhappy if Mbappe twanged a hamstring before the final though (if we get there).

Wrong decision from the referee, fault on Hazard. We deserved a free kick.

And that ball wasn't out, took away a counter attack opportunity for Belgium. I hope Belgium ties it. This deserves extra time.
