It captures so many of the elements that make a patek special, and all done in a super thin and unique case design. The cushion case typically reserved for special watches such as the 3670 and 5950.

There is a groundswell of chatter about the under appreciated significance of the 3940, produced in defiance amidst the quartz crisis when many though it was the end of the Swiss watch industry.
(round version of this watch worn as a daily by Philippe Stern).
it is a whole lot of watch at a relative discount in todays market.
Perpetual calendar /micro rotor/ balanced layout etc.

So good. This one is absolutely awesome. The dial is pretty sporty and the bracelet is unique and looks extremely comfortable.
