That's exactly the plan: Panda dial and red hands already on hand: ✔️

U inspired me to do the same with my 116509. Just have to source the panda dial and ceramic bezel. I smell a new project

Plus the ceramic bezel is most welcome, since i swear the wg bezel is so soft, it get scratches by just staring

BEAUTIFUL watch. Nice modded Daytona. Can you inform about how much has it been to modify it? Might decide to go this same way with mine.

This mod will absolutely rock with a RubberB or an Everest rubber.

Will a Rolex service center do any of these modifications, or do they refuse to alter the watch?

You will have to find an independent watch maker.

Super cool. That is as nice as the new 500's. I have always really loved the Arabic racing dial. Great mod!

Yes I always thought the GMT bracelet should be fully brushed like the original. I did I my GMT some years ago (story here https://www.minus4plus6.com/116710.php#brushed) and never regretted it. Since then, all my Rolexes have had brushed bracelets standard (Explorer II, DeepSea, SeaDweller).
