I used to own a 18238 with a silver tapestry dial. Beautiful watch but hard to tell the time due to not enough contrast for me. I like the vertical line theme though.

Definitely go with the 6 digit reference. Clasp is better designed and you get more gold with with the solid links.

Well I just got back from driving (2800 miles in 4 days) from S Central Wi to Orlando Fl and back to see David. Had to go back home in Fl to get the boxes and paperwork from 2 Rolexs I was trading in. Finally joining the DD brotherhood again. Rolex really outdid themselves with this model.

Greetings everyone-I did not feel the need to start my own thread but I might be the owner of a 118238 soon.

I am looking to trade a stainless 2018 DJ 41 and a 2016 DJ 36(two tone) for a Presidente!

Wish me luck-life is short so no time like the present to get the watch I really want.

Thanks! Yes, I think she mentioned that to me when she gave me the watch. But I had forgotten about it up until now. Appreciate the reminder. Thank you! My 50th year was truly blessed beyond any watch.
