For many years it was my GMT only. Now I rotate between other Rolexes and other makes. I would say 90% of the time its a Rolex all bit it now semi retired.
I would agree that most people don't pay attention to or notice what watch you are wearing

I wear one of three that I have in rotation, whether in the office, on a roof, or in the pasture.

I work my backside off and rewarded myself with these three.

But to be honest, most don't notice it.

I am retired, but wore my nice watches everyday while working. As an RN, I needed the second hand....

For my friend in Barcelona, mas del campo.

We really need more equipment in our shots.

Wear it if it brings you joy.
Leave it at home if it makes you uncomfortable.

Most people don't notice. Your car and your dresscode are much more noticeable.

I wear a watch (Rolex or AP) pretty much 24/7 no matter what I'm doing. Buy to enjoy ALL the time!

I wear my 116610LN to work everyday. Non-watch people either don’t know or just know it’s a nice watch. Watch people appreciate the brand and quality. It is all good, life is too short to worry about what people think. I just think about how I think about myself, work hard and play harder!

I work government, so in most situations, it’s the most expensive watch in the building. I’ve been wearing Rolex to work for the last 33+ years.... no issues...

I didn't get my first Rolex until after retirement, mostly because I didn't really focus on them. I wore a tasteful Hamilton tank for years, fit nicely under cuffs.

It's funny that starting around age 45, I owned a series of BMW's, including one of the first Z-4's. Not because I wanted a flashy car particularly, but just because I liked them. Yet I have a feeling I would have been uncomfortable wearing a Rolex to work (though I'm sure it wouldn't have mattered).

There's no accounting for the inconsistency of the human brain.

Understand your concern, but if don't flash it around and tell people what it is, most will never know.

Wear it to trade if for a Tag like your bosses. But do something so you can wear a watch you like.

This. Wear my AK just about every day. No one notices or has said anything unless were out after work and in VERY close proximity.

Im second from the top. My boss isn’t a watch person so it would take me wearing an iced out full gold watch to even ask questions, not that it would matter. So long story short yes I do.

I worked for a company where 1 partner is a billionaire and the other 2 were close to it. 1 wore a 5167, the other 2 didn’t wear watches. No qualms wearing a nice watch around them.
