I have had my DSSD for close to 3 years now. I absolutely love this watch and wear it damn near every day. My first Rolex was a Submariner but after several years of ownership, I just felt that it was too small for my liking. The DSSD is an absolute beast!!!!

One month in and I am totally in love with my new DSSD more than any other watch I've been lucky enough to own. For me and my wrist it's just perfect. It's so well fitted that the only time that I'm aware of the extra weight of the watch is when I lift it out of its box to put it on in the morning.

How many DSSD owners have tried out the Rubber B strap using the original Rolex clasp? What are your thoughts? I have an Oris Titan C with a rubber strap with a clasp and I really like the look and feel. With DSSD being so heavy, I wanted to get some opinions before pulling the trigger. If anyone has one using the Rolex clasp, could you please post a picture? Thanks

I have had many rolexes during the last years (Submariner ND, Explorer II polar, Submariner LV, GMT Master BLNR, Daytona C 116500 & Deepsea Blue) and I have to say that the only watch that I was really impressed was the Deepsea Blue. It's an amazing watch which has been engineered to the best.
When you pay so much money for a watch, you need to consider what is value of and with the D- Blue you have; The best diver watch ever invented, Titanium in the back, gorgeous dial, amazing bracelet, fabolous dommed cristal. Etc.... As someone told me, even if you can't wear it, you shall have it. |

I really adore the big chunk of steel, I like to call it the hockey puck. I've had it since 2011.
Definitely not the best investment Rolex, but it is a great engineering achievement Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

While not a light weight and it is heavier than a steel Daytona or steel DJ. It is not that heavy. DSSD is 212 grams. While a Platinum Daytona is 286 grams. A gold AP Royal Oak is around 300 grams. |

When I let friends try it on, that is the first thing they comment on is the weight. I came from wearing a Sub(130grs) and an Oris Titan C (115grs)(which I still wear on occasion). So yes, compared to those this is a heavy watch, but that is what I love about it. Honestly, I wish the bracelet was a little more robust as well.

Love, love, love my DSSD. I will eventually get another Rolex, but the DSSD will never leave!
