I changed the jubilee bracelet to my new Pepsi GMT-II. I swapped out the bracelet from my old 116710LN (GMT-II black ceramic bezel; now discontinued). I personally just did not love the jubilee on the GMT. It made it feel too light and flimsy. The oyster bracelet from the 116710LN is identical to that found on a Daytona. It has the easy link 5mm extension or reduction link. It gives the watch much more of a robust feel. I loved it before, now I’m in love with it! It has become a top of my rotation selection and after careful consideration of which watch I will take on an upcoming vacation to Iceland, this Pepsi GMT with oyster bracelet is one of the two I’m taking. I’m surprised that Rolex will not give us an option on which bracelet we want to select with this piece: jubilee or oyster.

Looks great. Did you use the Pepsi’s spring bars or the spring bars from the LN?

The OFFICIAL GMT Master and GMT Master II Owner's Thread

my absolute pride and joy. This watch means so much to me and every time I look at it I smile. I have been offered more than double the amount that I paid on numerous occasions (I paid retail). I’ve also been offered a few really cool cars including a 2010 Maserati Quattroporte HA!

Nothing in my collection gives me the same feeling.

My AD surprised me with this for my 30th birthday this year, which was July 28. Also knowing I was getting married the following September. July 28, 2019 - my 30th bday, is dated on the warranty card with my name

Since then it’s been everywhere with me for all important events in the last year! Including my wedding.

I’ll join. This was my fathers watch originally. He has passed quite a while back, but wearing it today as it’s his birthday today as well as my sons.

I used the bars from the 116710LN. They were thicker and kept the bracelet from rattling. Swapping out the bracelet has turned the Pepsi into a totally different watch for me. Feels more robust, solid, a bit more heft and presence.

GMT Master II

Is the GMT Master II the same super case dimension as the submariner?

So, got AD call early last week. Made myself wait until leap day as it happens to be my birthday.

What are the odds, AD Rolex, leap day, birthday!
