Here’ my SD4K with a sand/bead blasted ceramic bezel performed by LA Watchworks. They did a great job and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

I’ll have a review posted on my website soon.

BLNR with 97200 Sub bracelet. Purchased the extra bracelet on watchuseek so I could keep my original SubC in place.

Some amazing mods on this great thread. I don't have the b*lls to do it myself but really appreciate the effort some of you go to.

With the roulette dial date wheel? That's the best part! I love a roulette date wheel.

Actually it’s an all red numbered date wheel from a Turn-O-Graph. I have images of that particular modification here: https://www.minus4plus6.com/SD4000.php#red

Most of my old posts in this thread have been deleted due to photobucket's greedy evil ways, but I have another mod in mind I havent seen before. Back in the day I would always mod 116520's with WG dials and loved each of them, but now I am thinking....

Blue 116618+ Champagne Serti from 16613/18 = Awesomeness!

I have seen a 116613 done like this and it looked good, but full gold would be awesome. The crux is the small index's look a but odd when so used to the new maxi's. Anyone done this or have some thoughts?

Thanks — LAWW, about $250. It was done by the previous owner but I do like it.

Modified rolex photos please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello guys,

I’m on the verge of giving in for modified Rolex watches.

I have a 114270 that I’m seriously considering for mod.

The list of changes are below:

Drilled lugs
Domed sapphire crystal
Gilt Explorer or Commando dial with correct hands set

Do you guys know someone reliable who could make these changes to my watch? Or a source where I can get the needed parts from?

What do you guys think about vintage tributes by HTW?

I really dig the Commando & 6350 heritages.

Perfection!

Well, almost. You could put some 'filler' in those lug-holes.

So I replaced the 116600 SD4K bezel insert with the black ceramic insert from a Rose Gold Yachtmaster (116655)

I'm going to replace the blue second hand with a red one as well.

I figured if Rolex wouldn't build it...I would....as close as I can get to this rendering without spraying a matte coating over my dial...and that isn't happening anytime soon!

I love the modifications I had made to my GMTc. They scratched any itch I may have had for a 114060 or an SD4K.

Love the green datewheel, but it's just feeling so naked without the cyclops!
