Hard decision in 2009 as to whether I brought this or a GMtIIc. I took the GMt but then swooped it inside 6 months and I’ve had the DSSD since.
Have worn it to death in a variety of sports and situations and still super strong and a firm fave

Amazing sturdy watch, truly unique in construction. I have a Deep Blue. How did you get that shade of blue in the upper part of the bezel ?

Afternoon everyone I’m new to the forum and this is my first post. Been on the side lines looking at the forum for a while and now I have a question. I have a deepsea blue that I’ve owned for about 18 months and am thinking of adding a rubber b tang buckle strap. I have a wrist of about 8 inches and don’t want a strap that looks on the limit of its length. I have emailed rubber b a couple of times with no response. Some pics on a large wrist would be great many thanks Jay

Thanks for the reply, I prefer the larger width on the rubber b as I think it suits the watch better, but will keep the Everest in mind thanks

Give David Duggan in Burlington Arcade a call and ask- they’re a stockist for rubber b I believe.

A RubberB at 8” wrist is a just fits. You can add an extra hole with a decent punch and that would be fine. You’ll have no overlapping tail but that doesn’t matter as you can bin the keeper of the strap sits close enough to the buckle

I love mine on the Rubber B strap. My 7.5 wrist has the strap in the third hole from the tip of the strap. Not much tail but it is comfy and holds the watch excellently.

I ended up with the watch after bringing my Breitling M! to the AD for an issue and they gave me a great trade deal. The Breitling was even bigger than the DSSD but being titanium is was lighter. I think it was a good deal.

A great way to wear them. I’d like to see them offer a strap version.

Nice setup. This is on my to buy list. I just don't know which color to pick, black or orange. I have a black dial.
