Steve, that is gorgeous. When? I am assuming that went on no expeditions! Commemorating any special occasion? Here’s my last (ie most recent, but definitely not final) watch buy to celebrate A significant professional achievement Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve seen this thread on and off and could never get past all the negativity just cause OP didn’t post pictures. Yesterday I clicked on it again cause it was the last thing that remotely caught my interest and Tapatalk put me to the end of the thread and I realized for first time how long the thread was so started reading from the end towards the beginning. At post 1374 and plan to go on till the negativity kicks in. Is the book still in print? Can’t seem to find it on Amazon.

Can there be a Best of the Best or Hall of Fame sticky thread link posted at the top and include this one?
Read this almost a year ago, but like many, couldn't get past all the snark and just outlandishly negative comments in the early reply posts. But really glad I did. What a life Steve! And thank you for sharing it with the rest of us with utmost grace and vulnerability. |

Hi Steve, waiting for the book to arrive. Started reading from the end and now reading from the start. Been reading every chance I get even on toilet lol. Glad im past the ugly parts. Have about 300 posts to go and not sure I want it to end. One question so far and this may be a dumb one but when the first persons to reach the exact spot of the South Pole they were in this Vast Vast wilderness with nothing but the same view as far as the eye could see in all directions how or what told them this is the exact spot of the pole and we plant our flag here? Thanks and I hope this thread lives on for another 2000 posts!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
