neighbour.

Waterloo Region home to the largest population of Old Order Mennonites in Canada, particularly in the areas around St Jacobs and Elmira. I pass through daily, and they can be seen on the local roads using their traditional horse and buggy transportation. Such a relaxing atmosphere.

Yes true.

I grew up near Elmira (a farm boy from WestMontrose). My family is Mennonite, not the old order type but the modern denomination.

My grandfather was old order Mennonite

Yep, and of course, West Montrose Covered Bridge also referred to as "Kissing Bridge", the last wooden covered bridge in Ontario and the oldest such bridge in Canada. Is this not idyllic?

Spending longer periods in Florida over the winter months, as I grow older and tire of the icy cold snaps in Ontario.

Great shot. I used to swim, and catch cat fish under that bridge with the other farm kids

That sure brings back memories. Thanks for that

Hi everyone, long time lurker new member as of today.

I'm from London Ontario and I'm looking to get my first Rolex. I've been searching Vintage and new. Just this past weekend went to Mississauga to try on a few New watches.

I really liked the DJ41 gold/steel, champagne dial with jubilee bracelet, it seems like the perfect fit and comfort.

does anyone have any knowledge if I can get a better deal on one, I'm skeptical to buy on chrono24 and I have a wedding to plan so I figured this would be the perfect gift for my fiancé to buy me hahaha.

I know its a long shot, as this is my first high end watch but I figured I might get a better answer here then the general forum.

Thanks a ton

We just got an excellent deal on 2 from the AD in Waterloo. My wife is an established customer there, that might have helped.

thanks for the reply. i've heard if your an established customer its more likely for you to get a pretty good deal or just go with a lot of cash and try your luck. I'd rather not carry that much cash around for to long hahaha.

AD’s also take wire transfers. Just ask for their banking instructions.
