Well Thats a Sweet Start to AP! Kinda tired of people saying the Brand is overpriced (ok,
but aren't they all) and over rated. I've got Rolex, Panerai, Patek, Breguet. I do think it's nice to diversify. Way to start at the top though.

Sam you thought about putting the 44mm on a leather strap? Not crazy about the GP strap, but maybe a custom made from ABP in Paris? Think it will look better and classier than on the rubber which is best on the RGRC.

Never have the thought of putting leather on my 44mm, cos i will wash my watch at the end of the day each time i wear it. I don't really like leather, after awhile it get dirty and smells. The cost to replace one is high too, about S$800+ compared to rubber only S$300+. Rubber washable and last much longer.

At Audemars Piguet LA Boutique, Liat Towers. List price S$62,000. I suggest you check it out at AP Boutique personally, my friend called up after seeing my watch was told no discount and currently no-stock for Novelty rose gold.

Yea as watches lately are getting bigger and bigger which I do not think is good news for us small wrist dudes..
Maybe ill need to switch them all to PP lol which tends to still make regular size watches

The Novelty do weigh a lot heavier and larger compare to Rubberclad. However, having said that i feel comfortable and great! She is really a beauty and catches lots of attraction. I guess, it's due to her size and the bling bling ceramic...btw, wrist size is 7.2in or 18.5cm.

The RG44 looks spectacular in your photos! Thanks for sharing. Too bad it is too big for me.

Hope, this can help you decide to get 44mm Novelty.
Having own my 44mm Novelty for a couple of weeks, i love it every minute. She never fail to make heads turn, some may find it too big and heavy...but the Novelty sat nicely on my 7.5 inches wrist.

Thanks again, Sam, your watch sure is beautiful and yet muscular and commanding, a devastating combo. This will be my next AP I'm sure.

My friend, you are a one man RG ROO appreciation thread, bring on 10,000 views!

Lovely. Make me tempted to get one too. But I don't have the wrist size to carry it. Notice that your pics of the Singapore AP boutique. Did you buy your RG44 from there as well?
