I size my watch with a screw driver I purchased from the dollar store and you cannot even tell if the screws are touched! So mind-boggling to hear these incompotent AD stories for simple stuff like this!

Holy Batcrap Robin! When you suggest you might be OCD, I was thinking I'd struggle to see anything, but wow, that's bad.

I feel bad for you, not a great start with a new Daytona.

WTF kind of screwdriver does he use???? Maybe some people are great salesman, but all thumbs with tools?

WTF

i've been reading this board for a long time, this has to be one of the worst ever AD experiences. I would report them to Rolex corporate.

Same. I use the screwdriver from an eyeglass repair kit and the screws on all my watches look brand new. Cost me $2 from Rexall. I feel like anyone with a half steady hand and a hairdryer (for loctite) should be able to size a bracelet without difficulty.

Something done right. .

I agree that if you want something done right, do it yourself. But this is a company that Rolex trusts to sell their new inventory! This AD should make it right. These AD's need some help training. If an AD can't even adjust the bracelet, then I'd never shop there again. Inexcusable.

Do it yourself. It's just a matter of using the correct screwdriver.

That is just a lazy hackjob. Sorry op.

I agree. I've removed quite a few bracelet screws before using cheap jewelers screwdrivers and never damaged any, though I now have a Bergeon tool for that job. I don't know how they managed to do that much damage without actually trying.
