I have started a thread just for the Schumi V2 here https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=416150--I'm still speechless we got to see it in person, much less have Mr. Papi spend hours with us and then host us for a private lunch.

AMAZING DAY WITH MR. PAPI!

Very cool. You should have asked him to autograph your watch!

LOL if it were that easy to do.

He actually signed his book on horological finshing and decoration, which is pretty much the bible on the topic...VERY cool

Guilty as charged. It's been a great experience with a great group of guys. Many thanks to AP, Govberg and our guides. Giulio Papi is a freaking genius and just a great all around guy to spend time with, like Paul said, what a day!

A thread like this will do more to build interest in the AP brand and strengthen customer loyalty than most advertising campaigns could ever produce. Why? because it comes across in a sort of authentic way advertisers can't really recreate. It must be my third "thank you" post but I'm not apologizing. Thanks for sharing this Mr. Paul, "the passionate man" as G. Papi says!

I think it's awesome that good clients can meet with the heads of companies like AP, PP, it must be awesome being there.

FP Journe will be cool also, too bad you can't see RM, I wonder what RM manufacture looks like, probably futuristic like their watches...

Well guys, 2:30am in Geneva and I'm beat. I want to sincerely thank all of you for joining me the past few days for an experience I will never forget. I will have a wrap up post coming in the next several days to summarize and expand on some of the things I'd like to share in more detail. One last day tomorrow.

For sure, I find it amazing that brands like PP and AP make possible these kind of events, a member here even had lunch sitting next to Thierry Stern, I heard at one of those lunches a collector asked to have a 5711P, and they did, gives the impression they really care about their clients and what they think/want, very cool.

I would love to do this with AP, PP and RM, at least you probably see pieces that you won't at AD's, like all the tourbillon models that Paul posted, I love ROO tourbillons, they look awesome

I also think a thread like this just shows what a great AD can do for their customers. I've dealt with George at Govberg for the past 7 years and have also gotten a chance to meet Danny and Brian Govberg and can say they really go the extra mile for their customers.
