I was between going a PM or Daytona for next watch and with the white ceramic being 17-18k, it’s just too close to PM in price to justify.

I will pick up a white dial ceramic when I can get one for retail. As far as liking it better than the old stainless....I do. 100% - it’s so tough to avoid scratches on the stainless bezel and i think the the ceramic is a little more of an eye catcher.

I had both black and white 116500 and traded/sold both. The ceramic bezel is exquisite and gives it an entirely different look than its predecessors, but I just wasn't a fan of the small case and wish they would update it to the larger version used on the gold models. Once they finally put white gold with ceramic bezel on bracelet...

Had the 116520 but did not liked the shinny bezel, so wouldn’t like the shinny ceramic bezel neither. Perhaps would own an older Zenith Daytona with brushed lugs and bezel next time!

This is not an easy question to answer. I like both the White and Black dial Ceramic Daytona. As to the previous model 116520, I much prefer the Black dial contrasting nicely with the stainless steel bezel insert (over the White dial). Fun ... to read our subjective responses.

Sort of bored and I'm completely baffled by all the hype about this model. I just don't see what the big deal is about it.

Is this true? Gold models Daytona has bigger case? Still its 40mm diameter?

As for Daytona-C, maybe in a few years when it costs =< MSRP, I will consider getting one

I love my AP Safari! Kinda glad the wait took so long (going in 2 years now) , as I probably never would have ventured away from Rolex. As for buying a steel Daytona at MSRP on the grey market that, never happening ever.

I bought the black and I find it comfortable but a bit smallish in appearance. The size makes it comfortable. I wish it had a date as well. The ceramic bezel is a plus in term of reducing aging through declining appearance. Unlike the 114060 the bezel isn't flashy with the tachymeter reducing the shininess . The screw down pushers tended to cause me not to use the watch for timing so I leave them unscrewed so I can easily engage the chrono. As I'm a fan of cars I do appreciate it's racing heritage which makes it special.

I have both, the white ceramic I love, but the previous one in black is also very beautiful, for me the best combination, white ceramic, steel in black.
