Adam you're killing me!!! Hahaha
I really tried more than 40mm but always felt them BIG (probably mental disorders).
But now I'm closing circles and instantly you will know why....

Congrats Adam!
I love the floating hands :)

The leather strap suits it, and is good quality, but I mentioned a few pages back that I though this would look good on mesh, and I have one on the way.

I'll write up some more later, but here are some quick iphone pics.

RIP to my Dan Henry. It was in a drawer with all my shorts.

I had grabbed a pair of shorts quickly this morning before heading to a dental appointment in Central.

Apparently, this caused the watch to drop onto the hard plastic floor of the drawer. It couldn't have fallen far, but it was enough to shatter the glass.

I should have kept it in a caseBudi or at least in its watch roll.

The plan was to bring it on vacation to Thailand this wednesday... Oh well, happens

It could not have been more than 17cm (height of the drawer). It must have landed at an unlucky angle.

Good news is I've already acquired its spiritual successor

Are you going to let your DH diver get repaired?

Why? Is a very nice watch! Sure you can buy the crystal to DH for a very good price and any watchmaker would repair it for nearly nothing.

I wonder if a suitable acrylic crystal could be found. That would make it even better, IMO.

Probably yes, there are tons of generic acrylic crystals around in so many shapes and sizes.

But if you decide to go down this road you'll probably have to give up the water resistance.

Totally agree but not sure if it's possible to find one compatible with the case.
That's a good question for DH. Isn't it? Why mineral crystal than acrylic?

Mostly the time involved, and that I have no interest in dealing with a local repair shop

I will miss the watch though. It was a lot nicer than the Swatch that replaced it

I'm in the other side of the world, I know, but probably I can get a crystal for you and if you want, one day, just send it to me and will repair it. Is a pity to leave the watch broken.

Crazy it broke so easily! As I moved recently, mine is still in the moving box somewhere. - Hope it survived...
On the other hand though, My swatch sistem51 that I wore twice, seemed to have died on me when I took it out of the budi a few days ago.

Just ordered the silver 1939. We’re visiting family in Canada now so my new chronograph will be waiting at the post office until we return. Sure has a great looking dial.

Hi Adam! Bit late but very busy these days!
Looks very nice. I love mesh bracelets, you know, but not sure for a Chronograph. I'm more with the perforated leather strap.
If you like it, enjoy it!! Cheers!
