I had to get a lighted magnifying glass to even see mine. lol

Almost thought I got a fake from David SW because i couldn't see it with the naked eye. My naked eyes....

You are correct. From what I understand it started appearing in 1999-2000.

I could easily see it on my 16600 SD. Then it went for service where they replaced the crystal because of a chip around the edge. Now there is no crown in the new crystal. If it's there, I sure can't see it.

Visit your friendly neighborhood watchmaker and borrow a loupe. Better yet buy one. 10x -20x magnification would be fine.

You'd be amaze on what else you can see under these magnifications!
