18, gift from my mom for graduation. Silver Daytona Big Red, always appreciated and cared for it. Didn't realize it's value until recently. I don't think my mom realized it would turn this valuable either.

65, purchased a 16233 TT DJ as a self bought retirement gift. Went on to get a 16570 Explorer II Polar at age 66 as a second retirement gift (also got a Tudor BBB and GS Quartz- retirement is a great excuse to buy a mini rotation of watches).

Bought my first one when I was 27. A used Datejust from the early 80’s. I’m now 43 and just bought my first brand new one from a local AD. One I have been wanting for 20years, a polar expII.

30 to celebrate my USA citizenship.
Before that I wore St Moritz / momentum watches which I still love as they are waterproof and local (Vancouver BC). Additionally I had a few Michael Kors watches.

Age 34 -explorer 1. Sold it and proceeded to own and flip about 25 or 30 Rolex watches.
Now I’m 53 and have 2 explorer 1s.
Lost a small fortune along the way. Had I held all those 4 and 5 digit refs I could retire tomorrow.

43 and I did it the right way. I purchased an unpolished 1675! Took it back last year to have it resized (lost some weight) and he tried to buy it back for more than I paid him!

25 when I got my first Rolex YM 16622 in 2001, bought a fluted/jubilee DJ36 a year later. Purchased a Deep Sea in 2016. Those are the Rolex.

Started into watches at age 18 with a Tag 2000 series, then the 6000 series 2 years later. Purchased an Omega SM300 at age 27 and an AP15202 age 40, Patek Aquanaut age 41.

Right now, only have the Aquanaut and YM. Miss the AP dearly, adding a 15450 hopefully sooner than later.
