The new "oystersteel" GMT on jubilee is a pass for me. 1) the bezel colors still aren't right 2) I will never wear an Old Man jubilee bracelet. So I guess my wallet thanks Rolex?

I agree, the jubilee bracelet doesn't do it for me, I think it takes away from the sport look. It now looks like the watch is confused between sport watch and dressy watch. I will stick with the Oyster bracelet on my Batman

I agree with this. As currently styled it's no longer a "one watch" option. Too fussy without an oyster bracelet and the Pepsi bezel ... those colors in bright light just look terrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

It's not bad, but I'm not wowed by it either. I'm happy with my 16710 and BLNR. I may add it one day as I love GMTs, but not gonna go crazy on a list or paying premiums secondary. If it was on an oyster, it may have changed things for me.
To those who like it, good luck navigating the lists for a few years. I'm looking forward to the future incomings. |

Love it, I would have prefered a coke, but I don’t Have a Pepsi and I have been thinking about getting the white gold blro for a while, but I generally don’t like gold and never liked the Batman. This is great. I just texted my AD. Getting one for sure. I also love the rose gold, really nice. Well done Rolex.

I just received word from my AD, we will not be able to swap the jubilee bracelet with the oyster. I am not sure whether if it's because it will not fit or Rolex will not swap it for us on demand. Question still remain on that front. |

I presume the old SS oyster bracelet will be a different fitting to this Jubilee??

The jubilee look is not for everyone I must admit, this design was first introduced with the Datejust back in 1945. I think the new bracelet make the GMT look to busy especially with all the numbers on the bezel. I would have to take a look up close for a final determination on whether I like it or not.
I am in contact with my AD as well, good question, can the jubilee be swapped with the oyster??? |

A new plus with the new GMTs, they now come with the new 3285 movement with 70 hr power reserve.

Like it, but would have liked an option for oyster bracelet. I think the root beer is gorgeous! I also like the WG blue dial. So far a few configurations speak to me. Need to try on the jubilee to see if I like it or not.

I would wait for buying the Steel Pepsi at MSRP by that time Rubber B has the strap for this model. I dont like the look of Jubilee on Sport Model.

Hummmm. I need to see it in the metal. On first impression, I’m just not feeling the jubilee bracelet.

I wore a Pepsi on a Jubillee for years. Eventually got bored of that combo and switched to Oyster and never looked back. I love it that a Pepsi has finally been released in SS, should have happened in the first place, but don’t now like being forced down the jubilee option to have to wear one.
The GMT Master range seems to have become very fragmented regards the options that are available. The stable GMT always had a red GMT hand unless it was a TT, and I don’t know why Rolex have deviated from this with various coloured GMT hands and script on the dial. It’s almost as if no one model in the line up is quite ‘perfect’. |

Great looking watch!
I won’t say that’s Rolex made a mistake by releasing the Pepsi first in WG, but i do wonder if they regret that decision. They probably intended to Pepsi to be WG only, but after all of the backlash, they caved in and are now making it in SS. The problem is that the WG and SS models look too similar so they slapped a blue dial on the WG model. The blue dial seems like such an afterthought (FWIW, I do like the blue dial). All in all, it seems like Rolex is trying to recover from a fumble, but the whole situation seems messy. No doubt some WG Pepsi owners are upset by this. I wonder if Rolex will offer to swap the black dial for a blue one for the WG owners? |
