I used to wear a lot of Diesel. Lately, Paige men’s slim or skinny fit. They are the softest, most comfortable and best fitting jeans I have tried.

I wear Levi's 511s in various colors. Seems to be a good bang-for-buck jeans. I don't think much about them. I couldn't justify spending more than $60ish on jeans.

I have always worn 501's, their cut seems to suit me, I have just counted and have 6 pairs, all colours, all ages, pairs for work, pairs for everyday wear.

wrangler or levi

i like a regular fit, none of this skinny or straight look, i am too old,

most shops seem to cater for the above, so i buy ebay used, £10 to £15 approx, £3 postage, they have all been clean and as described when delivered

when i get low on jeans like now, i just tap in the size required, send a message to confirm sizes and press pay.

Besides Double RL (RRL), which I’ve posted in this thread, also Saint Laurent and Rag and Bone.

Target brand: Denizen 232. They fit so well and they’re cheap and they last!

I tend to get a pair of AG's and wear them into the ground. pants in general take a beating, which makes designer off the rack suits a bad buy, since the pants can't be replaced. if I'm gonna spend $$$ it's on footwear or outerwear

Yeah, I prefer unadorned unwashed plain denim that I wear in myself so I have APCs of different ages and therefore different shades and states of wear. Also have some Levis.

I used to wear mostly raw denim, but I was never happy with any of the fits and the thought of not washing my jeans was always something that kind of bugged me.

I’ve been wearing AG lately and I love the brand. Very soft, quality denim and awesome fits and washes.

Plain old fashioned Levi's for me. You guys spending several hundreds per pair on designer brands are crazy. I have a hard time spending 50 for one pair. They are just jeans after all.

Own one pair of Levi’s. Don’t wear jeans often (maybe once a month or so). If I wore more often I’d look into something different, the recommendations here are helpful.

My PM Sub will last for generations long after I am turned to dust. Can you say that about your $200 pair of denim jeans? I bet not grasshopper.

Not so fast, Vintage Levi's can sell for thousands of dollars, like anything, there are people who collect these things, and the rarer, older and more unique the better.

Pair of vintage Levi's from the 1800's sold for $100,000 USD....

http://fortune.com/2018/05/26/vintag...s-jeans-1800s/

Even some Levi's from the 1980's are selling for big bucks:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/a...-000-eBay.html

Here's a pair of Levi Strauss jeans from 1890 going for $55,000 USD:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Levi-Straus...oAAOSwjiZct3AL

Crazy things people collect, but then again, I collect antique straight razors, and lots of people think I'm nuts for that....

Been pretty busy these days, but I’m still around! Maybe just not as active as I used to be.

Comparing a 30k watch to $200 jeans, lol. Ok.

But since were justifying things based on how long they’ll last, I’ll take a diamond over your Sub since it’s a billion years older and will theoretically be around for millions or billions of years after your watch is turned into scrap metal.

Have 3 pairs of jeans
1) crappy pair from Wal-Mart for when I need to do yard work etc
2) APCs with some nice fades- the skinny jeans- the sales person says just buy it they will stretch like crazy. They do but still skinny. That deep color is gone, so it's a lighter blue. No longer work appropriate.
3) Iron Heart- love this but got some really heavy denim so it's torture wearing it in the summer. But they are quality. Everything feels really well made. Unfortunately I had to wash them after I spilled some food all over it. Fades are beginning to show, but still have a way to go since my jeans 24-7 days are gone.

Had a pair of Neighborhood jeans but the denim was THIN. In 3yrs the knees were all torn up and had big holes in it. Fades were good and color-wise better than the APCs. Had a small hole in the back where one of the pockets were sown in, too. Also length was kinda short. Really disappointed in the durability.

I just want one pair that I can wear and beat up. Out of the 3 "premium" jeans, I've owned, Iron Hearts in my favorite.

My "grail" would be 45r denim. Can't bring myself to spend $1000 on denim but they are lovely.

I stopped wearing jeans when I discovered Lululemon ABC pants, and when I'm not working I wear shorts all year round.
I only have one pair of jeans now, a pair of Levi's 541. It's the Athletic Fit. They're great if you have a slim waist and slightly muscular legs. Anyone who squats and deadlifts regularly could not possibly wear a pair of Levi's 501. Even designer jeans, I find that they are either designed for super skinny dudes or the average fat person. Jeans are such a headache...

How often do you guys wash your jeans? I used to throw mine to washer after a week of use but lately after a month. Levi's CEO said his last more than a year without washing - that's extreme IMO.

I've heard the same thing about the Levi's CEO.

I used to get them washed after a single use. Now I take out a few pairs at a time and rotate them over a couple of weeks, sort of like watches. Unless I get rained on or something really funky happens. Usually I do a smell test before recycling a pair, wife always goes when she catches me in the act.

What's up with Ag jeans? Bought a pair about 4 years ago and they were made in the usa and were $200. Bought another pair a few months ago and same price but are now made in Mexico.
