Stunning. How did you like the Dark Knight and how did you find that it held up? It is DLC over the metal, correct? I am very interested in this model or possibly a FF with one of their blue dials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The DK is my favourite of the full size models I’ve owned. Absolutely stunning in the metal and no problems whatsoever with regard to the DLC finish.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. It’ll probably be a while, but it may be a watch in my future. Is it DLC over steel or titanium? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I am a big fan of the Fifty Fathoms. Had an Automatique for several years, but it wore a little larger than I like. I have been chasing this one for a while and finally found an excellent Pre-Owned example. Great size, ceramic case and the F385 hi beat movement. What’s not to love.

It took almost one year to find one in the US. I love the blue dial and the satin stainless steel case.

I took these pictures last week when I received my watch. I love the look of the dial in the sun.

That is a stunner and probably my favorite dial of the FF collection. I WISH that model had a display case back. That’s my only gripe, but wow, it is forgivable! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Cool piece. If it were 40 mm and steel I’d be more on board. I hope they do more no date releases.

I've been considering getting the blue version for some time now however was never able to try one on in person. I've been wanting a green dial watch for some time too so when the above was announced it was a no-brainer for me!

Picked this one up about a week ago. The blue dial is lovely and the brushed titanium case light as a feather. IMHO the BP FF is the finest diver made.

I posted this question in a new thread but doing some other research came to the earlier parts of this tread. Can anyone with some experience with both X-71 bracelet models provide some feedback?
I am going to purchase a Blancpain X-71 stainless steel bracelet but I’m undecided between the “original” design or the new twin trigger clasp. I like the look of the original and found a pre-owned X-71 bracelet on Chrono24 I’m considering but I do not have any experience with the leaf springs and fold over clasp. Can anyone provide some feed back on their opinions of the leaf spring as far as security on the wrist? I do ware my fifty fathoms in the ocean and lake so how security would be top priority. |

Resurrecting this thread :)
For those who purchased a pre owned Blancpain, were you able to register your ownership via the website? I assume that, like other brands, the remaining warranty is transferred too? Thank you. |

Hi. Just registered now and did not get anything about the extension. I received an email saying this:
The world's oldest watch brand wishes to thank you and congratulate you on your acquisition of an Haute Horlogerie timepiece. Creating it calls for time-honored know-how, perpetuated by master-watchmakers who have patiently assembled and decorated each component of your watch mechanism. Your choice of a Blancpain timepiece owes nothing to chance. This testifies to the sensitivity and high demands of an authentic connoisseur. Further it honors the watchmaker who crafted your watch, thereby contributing to preserving and enhancing the renown of the tried and tested hand-crafted methods characteristic of traditional Swiss watchmaking. Blancpain is pleased to add your name to its Register of Connoisseurs and thanks you for your trust. The doors of the Manufacture will always be open if you wish by appointment to discover the precision and the beauty of the work performed in our Le Brassus workshops. We already look forward to welcoming you there some day. Is this what you received? Or does it look like they have removed the “secret” extension? Any recent purchasers who got the 3 year extension? Thank you |
