It's my favorite GMT currently in production, but it's not my favorite watch overall.

You can tell where a watch ranks based on the grey market premium. A lot of people like it, but it doesn't touch the Daytona or Pepsi.

Not really, Pepsi has been out for 6 months so obviously it'll have high demand (but prices slowly falling). Similar with Daytona, definitely less out there than BLNR with just as much or greater demand so it'll have higher premium.

If the BLNR ever gets discontinued and not replaced I wonder what will happen to the prices?

The same thing that would happen to any popular SS model if it got discontinued? What would happen if the Sub No Date went away, or the plain GMT LN, the basic Explorer 1, or Polar?

These things aren't getting discontinued, and it's nonsensical interweb hype of discontinuation that perpetuates hoarding, flipping and grey premiums.

No. Could've bought one but went LN instead. Zero regrets.

No. Heck, it's not even one of top 10 current production Rolex watches, never mind 'watches on the market'.

No.

Had one for a while. Couldn’t live with that blue.

IMO, the BLNR is one the best looking modern Rolex watches. I don't really have "favorite" watch per se, rather a group of favorites and the BLNR is SOLIDLY in that group (along with my 1680 Red, 116600, etc.)

The Blue is the best part. Blue Bezel, blue 24 hr hand, blue lume...LOVE IT.

I can’t say that it’s my favorite watch on the market. But it’s certainly one of my three fav modern Rolex pieces. The other two are the BLRO and ceramic Daytona w/ a black dial.

Nope. Having seen and tried on the BLRO recently, the BLNR is definitely not my favourite GMT of the current line-up. Really don't like the PCL/Oyster Bracelet combo. Sold my LN because of the PCL's - dare I say too blingy for me.

If it's a GMT it's got to be the BLRO all the way and some......

I bought one because of the color, but it didn't last long and I'll tell you why.

It felt to light and the lightness compared to my SS Sub, made it feel cheap. Even though it had some blue, it wasn't enough.
It was still basically a black Rolex.
It cut my wrist bone with the end of the lug.
I took it to Hawaii, and it got sand in the clasp, and It locked the clasp so /I had a hard time opening it.
The PCL's were great, but I associated them were heaving Rolex watches.

It left my stable and it was one Rolex I could do without.

I saw it in an Airport on a huge sign one day, and it prompted me to buy...
Great watch, but not for me

BLNR was not for me. I passed up the chance to buy one in Jun from my AD because I knew it wouldn’t get worn. I actually prefer the all black model but still not enough to pull the trigger.

Everyone has different tastes, threads with titles like this one are bound to stir the pot.

I’m a huge fan of GMT’s, but of the five I possess, the BLNR isn’t one of them and likely never will be. It’s a grail for many and I appreciate that, just not me.

It was my dream watch, but I know it’s not for everyone.

I picked it because I wanted something from the professional line that I could wear with a suit and also casually. The best answer is the black submariner or sub date, but the caseback and glidelock didn’t fit my smaller wrist well and I did not like the ubiquity of the watch. The Hulk is badass, just not my style.

The BLNR looks amazing with a suit and also looks good dressed down. The Explorer would be the best, but I like the date function and the GMT complication. It’s the perfect watch for me.

The only other watch I’d consider at around this price would be an 1803. But I’d miss the modern advancements.

When presented with the BLNR or the SD4K by my AD I went the SD for its more subdued appearance and history. The BLNR looks better than the Pepsi to me though. I think the blue is too bright for me.

In the end it's a Rolex, it's a GMT, and it's stainless and highly functional, so no one can discount it. It's all personal preference. If it's your favorite.....there ya go. That's all that matters.
