I'm a bit busy right now, in fact too busy to think up a suitable retort.

If you don't mind I'm polishing my trophy.

I find spitting on it first brings up a brilliant shine!

Trophy has been collecting dust...

First time I've polished it in ages.

Old David kept banging on about Cape Cod polishing cloths so I thought I'd have a go.

Give it a quick buff and heavens forbid I almost jumped out of my life.

The flipping cloth put a nasty cut right in the top of it.

As you may well know, there's nothing worse for your trophy polishing than a nasty gash....

I'll get my coat!!!!!!!

I am sure some pictures posted on the general discussion board would give you an indication of where you are going wrong. To get that perfect brushed look don't press too hard and make sure you rub one way. I hope you have taped off the shiny bits to give that satin brushed look

If he over polishes it, he could have uneven wear on it

We had some high ranking visitors at work, one of the lads was duly dispatched to set up the rest area with the best tea cups and saucers with some biscuits, when the visit was over we were all clearing away I noticed that he had placed the chocolate digestives on the plate upside down, when I asked him why? he replied that because the visitors thought the biscuits were just normal digestives without chocolate, they would eat less and leave more for us, he was right, they weren't touched, would make a fine Jock that lad.

Laugh, I nearly choked on my biscuit.
