I love the look of the sub, but I want a date. That’s why I think the SD was the best because no cyclops.

I’m biased (114060 owner). I like the simplicity of the dial and the symmetry.

If I need a date my iPhone works wonders!

It's gotta be the date for me. While I love the classy look of the no dates, I need the functionality of the date. I recently purchased the new 126610LN and I absolutely love it! I actually used this super helpful guide when I was deciding which Rolex Submariner to get: https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-bl...ing-guide.html

"There is, with every pun intended, an ocean of Rolex Submariner information out there, which can make choosing the perfect model for you an overwhelming task. That’s why we have put together this extensive buying guide, with all the most pertinent material gathered together in one place, and we hope it will become an invaluable reference manual for you as you begin your search."

Love the sub the best. But from personal experience if you have the sub, have a complement date (sub, datejust, GMT) as well. I guess if I only had one, would do the sub date, but really prefer the submariner better. Very clean look, special.
