The actual three myths on TRF are:

1. Rolex is a "tool watch".

The old ones yes, the new ones not so much which is why I have little interest in newer Rolex models that are really just expensive, showy jewelry. Among TRF members there is a huge amount of interest in older, five digit Rolex models that are tool watches.

2. TRF members don't care about prestige and showing off (unlike every other Rolex owner in the world).
