What if say in grocery stores here in the US product was sold the same way as in a Rolex AD. Let's say you wanted to purchase 10 lbs of filet mignon and when you went in you where told you had to have a relationship with the meat department or buy 20 lbs of chicken livers with the filet mignon. Of course this is a stretch but after the last 8 months I'd propose anything is possible. It wouldn't happen of course because they would just dramatically raise price of the filet mignon to an acceptable market price. Sell Rolex the same way.

You’re completely missing the point. People don’t desire things that are readily available so increasing supply and just raising MSRP doesn’t work as effectively
