Your Rolex collection is spectacular. However, I think that I am more impressed with how pristine all of your watches are! I worked at a watch store in Pennsylvania and you would not believe what customers would do to their watches. It was just criminal.

My favorite was a customer that had a Patek 5098R, a gorgeous guilloche dial piece that is by no means water resistant. He had the brilliant idea to go into the ocean with it. This was a horrible idea to begin with but what made it worse was the temperature difference. A lot of watch salesmen leave this out of the pitch, but a sudden and dramatic change in temperatures can cause the watch's crystal to fog up. This actually happens in the summer at the beach. People are on the beach in 90 plus degree whether and not thinking, jump into the water that is 30 degrees cooler. Then they are stuck with a $1,000 repair.

Just collect my Day-Date from RSC, watch looks brand new. Loved the bling bling... received new type of warranty card (2 years warranty). Not too sure when RSC started issuing this new warranty card, much better then the previous ones...

Beautiful looking bark DD!

Thanks for sharing the info on the new "guarantee" card for Rolex service.
Does anyone know if similar cards are offered elsewhere?
(ie besides Rolex Singapore)

BTW, very kind of them to 'round-off' the 3 cents .
