SD43 used to be the best SS model for me until I tried on the Submariner 41. The proportions, weight and fit are just perfect and I don't want another watch without glidelock. 126610 LV is my new favorite daily.

A boring option, but if I could only have one, it would be my 116610LN.

What is your favorite rolex?

Mint green DJ:

It’s a tough question for me, because some of the watches I love, on you guys, I simply can’t wear. They wouldn’t look right. Given my taste, and size constraints, the mint green DJ is probably my favorite, at the moment. I also think my simple Silver OP is beautiful, despite being “trashed” by several members, in another thread.

Historically the black sub date. But I think the BLNR on jubilee which I had is the best Rolex.

To look at: DJ white, Romans, fluted, jubilee (I'm a sucker for white dials and Romans).

To wear day to day: Batman and current Air King.

That I wish I could pull off but just too big. JC Deep Sea.

Rolex OysterDate ref. 6694

I have a 1960's 6694 - needs a bit of alignment on the date wheel but works perfectly for its age!

It’s bizarre to me that anyone would trash someone’s watch choices here. Most of us are enthusiasts for these and other watches and negative people should go somewhere else. Silver OP is a great watch, good for you!

My Sub Date. Reliable, handsome, sophisticated, understated, with a hint of naughtiness.

Ooo that’s a beaut. I’m thinking either this, Wimbledon or OP41 Green for the next watch to accompany my no date sub.
