The train could have done, I just wasn't sure. I know these times are different. Sometimes full gold references aren't as in demand. Just don't want to waste my time making the trip, that's all.

Your best bet is to inquire through their website or phone call. Tell them you are far away. They have a separate allocation for remote people and can tell you how long the wait is.

Thank you for the information. That's what I was afraid of, given the current market.

I'll give it a shot and see what happens. You never know.

New stock allocation comes out in April so worst case keep interest open and call them at the start of April and remind them what you want!

On the 4500V/110R-B705, my closest AD told me that they have a three-year waiting list (three names on the list) and it didn't really seem like an option to join it.

They did tell me that there wasn't a list for the 4300V/120R-B509 and I was able to put a deposit down. I should receive within 6-12 months.

Absolutely stunning. Unfortunately I feel like I’ve missed the boat on VC as any of the overseas models seem impossible to get my hands on at MSRP

Depends on the model / color dial. One of our trusted sellers has an unworn silver DT overseas for essentially MSRP when you consider tax. Black dials are still reasonably within MSRP for many variations.

If you're looking specifically at blue, it'll be nearly impossible without getting on a waitlist via your favorite VC boutique.

There are some available immediately, but the price is what it is in the secondary market...

If we have the money, we are unlikely to lose anything, the value will be solid in the future. It's already (re) selling pretty well.

It is now the only solution if we do not want to wait for years, especially for the blue versions

I am not calling you out on this, but I did want to comment on this type of thinking (which I'm seeing a LOT of in the media, social media, random discussions, etc).

That statement is how you know we're in a bubble.

Every single bubble in the past ended up this way towards its peak.

I'm not calling you on this either. But the problem with not accepting or realizing the state of the market in supply and demand is that even in 5, 10 or 20 years, you will still be complaining about being in a bubble.

This applies to all areas, when a product or a good soars, there are some who do not miss the boat because they are not cautious, and the fearful who are always complaining or biting their fingers later...

But watches are not supposed to be "investments."

They're supposed to be things people wear and enjoy.

I'm not missing the boat. I own most of the hype watches.

This! I don't know where prices on these specific watches will go but the attitude that you can't lose money usually indicates bubbly bubbleness. These are current production watches, the one thing you can be certain of is VC will make more.

Sneaker culture must have been in a bubble for near 2 decades now.

If this is your cup of tea that you want to define your style and speaks to you, then get it. Premiums to cut the line exist all over and I view the grey market prices of today, relative to the demand, more similar to paying to board a flight earlier, rather an investment vehicle that's due to pop.

Buy stuff you love and can afford, it'll alleviate any financial damage and at least you'll have the emotional equity if the bottom falls out.

I find the VCO to be too over the top in the maltese cross design, and doesn't speak to me in its own right. And I might not even consider this piece if not for the other sports luxury contemporaries being so hard to obtain.
